A note about my fabric choice: I am making this with two layers of cotton and a linen lining. I love the linen lining as it is cooling and comfortable. However for a new hand sewer or someone at risk for wrist pain I’d recommend using only two layers of cotton as the third layer does make it a bit bulky.
